WATER LINE FLUSHING IN EAST FREETOWN

Our operator, David Thibodeau, will be flushing water lines via hydrants in the areas of Chace Road, Garden Path, Jane White Court, Mason Road, Middleboro Road, Palmer Court, and Rounsevell Drive.

The reason for this is to move large amounts of air out of the water mains which is vital to
ensure our customers have the proper level of water pressure, especially those that have a fire suppression system.  Service to these areas will be temporarily interrupted on the days David is flushing, and those days have to be when the weather is not rain.

Flushing will kick up particles in the lines and/or water may appear discoloured.  If this
happens, run cold water at a few exit points until water runs  clear, generally it clears up in a minute or two.

We apologize for the inconvenience this process may cause.

A notice will be posted when David has completed flushing all hydrants in these areas.
