Board of Selectmen

The Board of Selectmen is the Executive branch of the town government. The Board is the issuing authority for various licenses and permits. The Board is also the main regulatory authority setting and enforcing policies and regulations. Additionally, the Board of Selectman serve as the Board of Health, Personnel Board, and Police Commissioners as well as serving on other various committees and boards. The Board of Selectmen is an elected position. During each Town election, one member is elected to a three year term.
