The Zoning Board of Appeals issues Special Permits for regulated uses, considers Variances for proposed exceptions and hears Appeals of the Decision of the Building Inspector. The ZBA process requires an advertized public hearing.
Forms and instructions for filing are available from the Town Clerk, the Building Department and the Board of Appeals. All Zoning Board of Appeal's variances and special permits are filed with the Town Clerk's Office in accordance with MGL.

The Zoning Board of Appeals is appointed by the Board of Selectmen. Each member is appointed for three year term.
