2024 Earth Day Event

Mark your calendars for Freetown’s annual Earth Day celebration! Join us on Saturday, April 20th (Rain Date: April 27th) from 9:00 am to 12:00pm

Be a part of the movement to keep Freetown "Clean & Green" by participating in our community cleanup event. As a token of appreciation, participants will receive free Earth Day T-shirts (while supplies last) to wear proudly as we work together to beautify our town.

Gather your family, friends, and neighbors for a morning filled with camaraderie and environmental action. Remember to dress brightly in your Earth Day tee, prioritize safety, and stick to designated cleanup areas.

Before we hit the streets, be sure to arrive by 8:45am at our designated pick up points to collect your cleanup kit, complete with gloves, hand sanitizer, and bags.

After the cleanup, join us at the Council on Aging for a celebratory gathering including lunch, group photos, and complimentary seed bombs generously provided by the library. Lunch of pizza and refreshments will be provided at the Council on Aging Pavilion from 12:30pm to 1:30pm.  Special thanks to our sponsors, including Borges Bros.
