Snow Plow Contractors Wanted for 2023-2024 Winter/Snow Season

The Town of Freetown seeks snow removal services from owners/operators of snow removal equipment for the upcoming snow and ice season.

Contractors wishing to plow for the town this year must provide the attached paperwork to the Board of Selectmen’s office.  Initial review will begin at noon on October 11, 2023.

CONTRACT REQUIREMENTS HAVE NOT CHANGED FROM THE PREVIOUS THREE YEARS.

Per the request of the Highway Surveyor, the snow plow rates remain unchanged from the end of the 2023/2024 snow season:

• 8-foot plow, $90/hour
• 9-foot plow, $96/hour
• 10-foot plow, $115/hour
• Loader with 3cy bucket, $135/hour (unchanged)

Completed packets can be mailed to the Selectmen's office (P.O. Box 438, Assonet, MA 02702) or dropped off in the black box in front of Town Hall (3 North Main Street, Assonet). Incomplete packets will NOT be accepted. For a packet to be considered complete, it MUST have copy of driver's license and commercial vehicle registration(s). Certificate of insurance may be faxed separately to the Selectmen's office: 508-644-3342.

Paper packets will NOT be distributed this year. Packets must be downloaded below.
