Stay Informed with the Town of Freetown

At the June 4th Annual Town Meeting, continued to June 5th, Freetown voters approved a text message/phone notification system. Preparations are underway for that to launch as early as possible in Fiscal Year 2019 (which begins July 1, 2018). In the meantime, there are other ways to connect with the Town of Freetown and stay informed:

Facebook: facebook.com/TownOfFreetown

The Town Administrator's Office has also put together a brief tutorial how to ensure that the Town's Facebook updates appear first in your timeline. To view that, please click here.

Twitter: @FreetownMA

Set up years ago by a previous Town Administrator but not utilized until recently, the Town is now on Twitter! The account currently cross-posts the Facebook updates, but some Twitter-specific content could be utilized in the future, taking advantage of some of the strengths of that platform. Make sure to follow and stay tuned!
