A pamphlet is available at Town Hall on Community Electricity Aggregation, explaning how Freetown is participating in a bulk electricty purchasing program designed to save you money on your electricity bill and protect you from volatile electricty prices. GOOD NEWS - PRESS RELEASE - REDUCED ELECTRIC RATES START JAN 2016!!

Residential and small business customers power rate will be reduced to $.0949 per kWh, fixed for 24 months under the program.  If you have made your own arrangements for an alternative power source at a LOWER Rate, you may want to "Opt-out" of the Town's new Aggregation Program. 

DURING THE WEEK OF DECEMBER 7th, all Eversource customers in Freetown will receive a letter from our new electricity supplier, ConEd Solutions, with infomation on how you can "OPT-OUT" of the new program. 

Below, you will find LINKS to help you get answers to "frequently asked questions", in order to help you decide if it is advantageous for you to opt-out.  Opt-out only if it is financially advantageous for you to do so.
