A Lexicon History of Freetown, Massachusetts

On the 200th anniversary of the founding of our republic, the citizens of Freetown looked back with pride on the role Freetown played in American history. It was a Freetowner who led the Union army in the first battle of the Civil War. While this document does cover national events, it is mainly devoted to local history. It is the local history of Freetown that made Freetown what it is today and decides what it shall be in the future.
